Support / FAQ
Straight answers before launch.
Products, compatibility, accounts, and what is still in development.
What is MonsterLink VDM?
VDM stands for Vehicle Diagnostic Module. It is a planned project to help riders understand information from their motorcycle. Development has not started; supported functions and motorcycle compatibility are not yet confirmed.
Is Fork Brace a connected module?
No. Fork Brace is a mechanical upgrade with no pairing, firmware or MonsterSync connection. The design is complete, and 3D printed samples have confirmed fitment for the 2009+ Kawasaki Voyager and 2011+ Vaquero designs. Metal prototypes have not yet been produced or tested; the printed fit check does not establish strength, road performance or every model-year fit.
Does KIS require VIH or an app?
KIS is being designed around an authorized fob and a deliberate press on a motorcycle-mounted button. App ignition and remote start are not offered. Final installation requirements and motorcycle compatibility are still being confirmed.
What is MonsterLink?
MonsterLink is a family of motorcycle technology and mechanical upgrades. Each product has a clear job, so you can choose the improvements that matter to your ride.
Is MonsterLink one product or a platform?
MonsterLink is a family of seven products: BTM, VIH, VSM, VDM, RIS, Fork Brace and KIS. BTM provides its own Bluetooth audio upgrade, and Fork Brace is mechanical. Connections between compatible products are planned where they are useful; buying one does not mean you need the whole lineup.
What is MonsterLink VIH?
VIH means Vehicle Integration Hub. It is a planned connection point for supported motorcycle functions and compatible MonsterLink additions. A custom design is underway; supported connections and fitment are not yet confirmed.
Which motorcycles will be supported?
The current development focus is the 2009 and newer Kawasaki Voyager and the 2011 and newer Vaquero. Check each product page for its progress and fitment details. Final compatibility will identify supported model years, configurations and installation requirements.
Is MonsterLink available now?
Products are in development and are not yet available to order. You can explore the lineup, read progress updates and create a MonsterLink account.
When will products launch?
Release dates and pricing have not been announced. Each product must complete the testing and production work it needs before orders open. We share current progress on the product pages and in Inside MonsterLink.
Can I join the launch list?
Product-update email subscriptions are not open yet. You can still create an account and read published updates in Inside MonsterLink. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing.
Does joining reserve a product?
No. Following a product or creating an account does not place an order, reserve stock or guarantee early access or special pricing.
Will MonsterLink require professional installation?
Installation requirements will be published for each released product. Some upgrades may need professional installation. Wait for the approved instructions and compatibility information before planning an installation.
Will MonsterLink work without the mobile app?
That depends on the product. BTM is a standalone Bluetooth audio upgrade, and Fork Brace is mechanical. The app is intended to help with setup and ownership where supported. Final requirements for other products will be explained before release.
Will features be added over time?
We plan to keep developing MonsterLink and will share confirmed additions as they are ready. Firmware installation is not available yet. No future feature, price or release date is guaranteed.
Is MonsterLink a subscription?
No paid subscription is offered in this release. Any future paid service would have its features, price and terms explained before you choose it.
How will compatibility be confirmed?
Each product needs checks on the motorcycles and configurations it is intended to support. Those checks include physical fit and the relevant electrical or software behavior. Printed-sample fitment is identified separately from testing a finished metal or electronic product.
Is the VSM a brake-light modulator?
VSM is the Vehicle Safety Module, a dedicated motorcycle lighting project. Boards are in hand and firmware work is underway. Its electrical behavior and installation still require testing; no measured safety or accident-prevention benefit is claimed.
Will MonsterLink support TPMS?
Tire-pressure sensing is a possible future direction. No TPMS product or supported sensor is available in the current lineup, and compatibility has not been confirmed.
What is RIS?
RIS means Rider Intelligence System. It is a planned on-bike display for useful information and controls. Hardware and supported connections are unconfirmed, and no development or release schedule has been announced.
