MONSTERLINK WEBSITE AND ACCOUNT TERMS
Effective date: October 14, 2026.
1. Who these terms cover
Matt LaMere founded and operates MonsterLink in Bettendorf, Iowa, United States. In these Terms, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Matt LaMere operating MonsterLink. These Terms govern the MonsterLink website and its enabled account services. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Account registration is available when offered through the MonsterLink account pages. Purchases and marketing subscriptions are not open in this release.
These Terms do not automatically govern a separate brand. A mobile application, released hardware product, testing program or purchase may have additional terms presented for that service. Applicable additional terms control the specific subject they address if they conflict with these Terms. Mandatory legal rights always take priority.
When you create an account or use a service that requests agreement, you must read and affirmatively accept the Terms presented to you. If you do not agree, do not register for or use that service. We do not treat merely visiting a public page as consent to optional marketing or as a waiver of your legal rights.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Account registration is for adults aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate registration information, keep your contact information current, and use only an account you are authorized to access. Do not impersonate someone or share access to a restricted Owner or administrative account.
Protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@getmonsterlink.com. You are responsible for your authorized activity. This provision does not make you responsible for a security failure caused by us or impose liability that the law prohibits.
Where supported, the website and MonsterLink app may use the same account. Account availability does not mean every device or app version supports every feature. Public reading pages may be used without an account.
3. Development information and product availability
The current catalog describes products in development or planned for development. A catalog listing is informational and is not an offer to accept payment, reserve stock or guarantee a release date. An expression of interest, saved product or account registration is not a purchase, preorder, test-program acceptance or position in a shipping queue.
Dated development updates describe the work reported at that time. Plans, designs, features and schedules can change. A planned development start is not a shipping date. A printed fitment sample, operational circuit board, selected fob or completed design does not by itself establish that a complete product is released, certified or suitable for every motorcycle in the development range.
We distinguish development targets from released compatibility. Confirm the product, model year, configuration and installation requirements against the official release information for the specific product before purchasing or installing it.
4. Motorcycle use, installation and testing
Development articles, photographs, concept illustrations and product discussions are not installation or repair instructions. Use applicable manufacturer instructions and official released product documentation. Seek qualified assistance when needed. Never configure a device, update firmware or interact with a phone in a way that distracts from operating a motorcycle safely.
Do not use account features or development information to defeat ignition authorization, factory safety interlocks or other safety requirements. A product's name or the tagline “Ride Smarter. Ride Safer.” is not a guarantee that a collision, injury, theft or equipment failure will be prevented.
Participation in any future hardware test program requires a separate invitation, supported configuration, instructions and terms. Access to this website does not authorize installation or use of unreleased hardware or firmware. Nothing in this section transfers our nonwaivable responsibility for a defective product to a customer.
5. Future orders, preorders and warranties
Sales and paid preorders are not open in the current release. Before accepting an order, we will present the applicable price, taxes and shipping charges, payment terms, expected shipment timing, cancellation and refund terms, and any applicable written warranty.
A future purchase is governed by the terms accepted for that order and applicable law. Changes to these website Terms do not retroactively remove rights under an existing purchase. No general website disclaimer overrides an express product commitment or a warranty or remedy the law requires.
6. Your information and uploads
You retain ownership of content you provide, including motorcycle records, photographs and documents. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to provide it. Do not upload unlawful material, malicious files, another person's private information without authority, or material that violates another person's rights.
You give MonsterLink a limited, nonexclusive license to store, copy, transmit, display to authorized users, and technically process your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service you request, comply with law, and carry out the Privacy Policy. This includes creating necessary backups and image sizes. This is not a license to use private customer photographs, records or documents in advertising.
Customer content is not made public merely because it is uploaded. Public sharing or promotional reuse requires an applicable sharing action or separate permission. Deletion is subject to the limited retention, legal and backup exceptions described in the Privacy Policy. Rights needed for those limited purposes continue only as long as necessary for them.
7. Our content and third-party rights
The MonsterLink name, logos, website designs, original text and other materials are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. You may view the site and make reasonable personal copies of public information for your own use, retaining applicable notices. This does not grant a license to reproduce our branding commercially, sell our content, obtain private engineering material, or misrepresent an affiliation.
Third-party trademarks, software and media remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. References to Kawasaki and other manufacturers identify motorcycles or the subject of development. They do not imply sponsorship, certification or endorsement. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that applicable law or an open-source license expressly grants.
8. Acceptable use
Do not unlawfully access accounts or private media, bypass authorization or rate limits, introduce malware, exploit the service, disrupt its operation, scrape personal information, send spam, or use it to commit fraud or infringe rights. Do not probe systems without authorization. Report a suspected vulnerability privately to support@getmonsterlink.com without exposing personal information.
9. Outside services and links
Links to YouTube, Facebook and other independent services take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability or endorse everything hosted there. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on our own selection and use of service providers; this section does not disclaim those obligations.
10. Availability, corrections and termination
We may maintain, correct, change or discontinue website features. We will give reasonable notice of material account-service changes when practicable, except where urgent security, legal or operational needs prevent it. We may restrict an account for a material breach, fraud, misuse or security concern. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact support.
You may stop using the service and request account closure through support@getmonsterlink.com. Recording a request does not itself erase an account or its backups. We handle account information under the Privacy Policy. Termination does not erase accrued legal rights, payment obligations from a separately accepted purchase, or provisions that reasonably need to continue, such as ownership and applicable dispute provisions.
11. Website service disclaimer
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FREE WEBSITE AND DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SITE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT LEGALLY PERMITTED, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT ARE DISCLAIMED FOR THE WEBSITE SERVICE.
THIS DISCLAIMER DOES NOT APPLY TO SEPARATELY PURCHASED HARDWARE, OVERRIDE AN EXPRESS WARRANTY, EXCUSE MISREPRESENTATION, OR LIMIT RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW PARTICULAR DISCLAIMERS, AND THOSE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED.
12. Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MonsterLink and its owners, officers, employees and contractors acting on its behalf are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost business opportunities arising solely from use of the free website service.
For claims arising solely from the free website service, and only where lawful and enforceable, their aggregate liability is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid MonsterLink for that website service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies only to website-service claims. It is not a cap on a hardware purchase or product injury claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury for which liability cannot lawfully be limited, nonwaivable privacy or consumer rights, product liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding or limiting. They do not relieve any person of liability merely because that person is an owner, employee or contractor.
13. Responsibility for unlawful use
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable resulting costs caused by your knowing infringement of another person's rights through content you submit or your intentional unlawful misuse of the service. This does not require you to indemnify us for our own misconduct, defective products or unlawful conduct. We will give prompt notice of a covered claim and a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. We will not agree to a settlement imposing an admission or nonmonetary obligation on you without your consent.
14. Resolving concerns and governing law
Contact support@getmonsterlink.com so we can try to resolve a concern. Informal contact is not a condition that prevents an urgent claim, access to a regulator or exercise of a mandatory legal right.
Subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live, Iowa law governs these Terms without applying conflict-of-law rules that would select another jurisdiction's law. For disputes that may lawfully be assigned a forum, the parties consent to courts with jurisdiction in Scott County, Iowa, or the appropriate federal court for that location. This does not remove a consumer's mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere or use an eligible small-claims court. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
15. Changes and general provisions
We will identify the effective date of the Terms we publish. Material changes to an account agreement will be communicated through an appropriate account notice or other lawful method, and renewed acceptance will be requested where required. Changes apply prospectively and do not silently rewrite previously accepted purchase terms.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent it can do so lawfully. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable terms expressly accepted for a specific service form the agreement for their subject matter. They do not create a partnership or agency relationship with you. Rights and obligations may transfer with a lawful business reorganization or sale, subject to applicable law, existing commitments and required notice.
